Discount Retail Chain Lidl has been named the World's Simplest Brand in the "2023 World’s Simplest Brand Tenth Edition" by Siegel+Gale. According to the report, Lidl is recognised for simplifying healthy, sustainable eating for generations to come.
To determine the global state of simplicity, Siegel+Gale fielded a survey with more than 15,000 respondents in nine countries to gather perspectives on simplicity and how industries and brands make people’s lives simpler or more complex. Globally, 25 industries and more than 800 brands were rated on their perceived simplicity. The brands were selected as a representative set that respondents would be most likely to know and/or use in each country.
After placing Lidl in the Top 10 in the last five editions, the German discount supermarket Lidl had number one in the bag, because the brand consistently provides consumers with the products they love at guaranteed bargain prices.
This title is a testament to the hard work and dedication of more than 300,000 of Lidl employees who work tirelessly to keep things simple for consumers. For 50 years, Lidl has produced high-quality items, low prices, and simple experiences.
