The discounter opened the new large box in a former Real store (Metro group) in Boblingen. The store covers a sales area of about 1,775 m2.
The new 8-aisle store with a premium look & feel offers a market-place-like fruit & vegetables section; the same for the bakery section. Also, for the non-food In-Out section a significant area has been allocated.
Despite the large size of the store (37m length and 48m width meter) Aldi still sticks to their range of about 1,800 SKUs and 100 promotional In-Out products per week. For the latter Aldi created space for 114 non-food baskets.
